Acer Nitro 7: New Striking Metal Housing
Acer’s new Nitro 7 is designed for gaming enthusiasts who want the best combination of design and performance. The brand new aluminum case is only 19.9mm slim. At the same time, the high-resolution 39.6cm (15.6-inch) Full HD-IPS display offers lifelike colors with a 144Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time, allowing gamers to enjoy even the fastest combat scenarios without jerking or tearing. A 9th-generation Intel® Core™ processor and the latest NVIDIA® GPUs provide a seamless gaming experience. In addition there is enough memory, with two slots for M.2 Gen 3×4 PCIe SSDs with NV-Me technology in Raid 021 and up to 32 GB DDR4 memory and up to 2 TB HDD memory.
Acer Nitro 5: Designed for Battle
With the updated Nitro 5 Series notebooks, gamers can enjoy their favorite games in Full HD and exceptional detail – optionally in 43.9 cm (17.3 inches) with Narrow Bezel display, or 39.6 cm (15.6 inches) with an impressive 80 percent screen-to-body ratio.
The Nitro 5 Series notebooks combine Intel® CoreTM 9th Generation Intel® processors, the latest NVIDIA® GPUs, two M.2 Gen 3×4 PCIe SSDs with NVMe technology in Raid 0, and up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM for premium mid-range gaming performance. Gameplay can easily be streamed using Gigabit Wi-Fi 5 with 2×2 MU MIMO technology. In addition, gadgets that support HDMI 2.0, USB-Type-C™ 3.2 can be connected via a number of ports.
Both Nitro 7 and Nitro 5 series are equipped with two fans and the Acer CoolBoost™ technology for optimal cooling even during longer gaming sessions. CoolBoost™ increases fan speed by 10 percent and increases both CPU and GPU cooling performance by about 9 percent compared to auto mode.
Optimizing the Gameplay with NitroSense, Killer™ Ethernet & Acer Network Optimizer
NitroSense makes it easy to control and manage your notebooks while you play. With just one click, the app can be accessed via the NitroSense hotkey, allowing you to easily adjust the temperature of each component, charging performance, and power consumption. This allows gamers to manually adjust fan speed or maximize fan speed in high-temperature situations. They can also set up a power plan to optimize power consumption in various scenarios.
Both Nitro 7 and Nitro 5 use Killer™ Ethernet E2500 and Acer’s Network Optimizer to prioritize gameplay. Players no longer have to worry about video freezing as latency has been improved by up to 25 percent for individual applications and more than ten times for multitasking. The Ethernet controller automatically detects game, video and chat streams and provides prioritized bandwidth for a virtually instantaneous user experience. When Auto Mode is selected, the Acer Network Optimizer can categorize sophisticated programs to drastically reduce connection problems.
Both notebooks use Wave’s MaxxAudio® advanced sound optimization technologies to provide gamers with a multi-dimensional gaming experience.
