CES 2020: HyperX introduces new gaming mouse, headset, keyboard and memory modules

The gaming expert HyperX, a division of Kingston, presented new gaming peripherals at the CES 2020 in Las Vegas. These include the wireless gaming headset Cloud Flight S, the RGB gaming keyboard Alloy Origins, the gaming mouse Pulsefire Raid, the RGB gaming mousepad Fury Ultra and the memory modules Fury DDR4 DIMM and Impact DDR4 SODIMM.

Cordless gaming headset HyperX Cloud Flight S

HyperX has improved the gaming headset Cloud Flight and according to the manufacturer, the Cloud Flight S offers a battery life of up to 30 hours, which allows wireless charging via the Qi standard. The design of the headphone earcups is closed and they can be rotated through an angle of 90 degrees. The virtual 7.1 surround sound and 50mm driver from HyperX are supposed to provide an impressive sound experience. The microphone is removable and integrates an LED indicator for muting the microphone. The game and chat volume can be adjusted via controls on the headset as well as via in-house software. The headset transmits at a frequency of 2.5 GHz. The HyperX Cloud Flight S gaming headset is compatible with the PC and Playstation 4 and will be available from the beginning of February for $159.99.

RGB gaming keyboard HyperX Alloy Origins

The Alloy Origins is a mechanical gaming keyboard with HyperX Aqua switches and has RGB-illuminated keys with five adjustable brightness levels. The keyboard has a brushed aluminum chassis with a compact design that leaves room for sweeping mouse movements. The keyboard cable from the USB type C connector to the USB type A connector is also removable. HyperX Alloy Origins comes with numerous adjustments for lighting and macros, including adjustable lighting effects for each key. Up to three profiles can be saved using the in-house software. Finally, the gaming keyboard offers 100 percent anti-ghosting and full N-key rollover capabilities. The Alloy Origins is available from March 2 for 119.99 euros.

Gaming mouse HyperX Pulsefire Raid

The Pulsefire Raid is an ergonomic gaming mouse with additional buttons for combinations and commands. HyperX states that it is designed for precise, smooth and responsive tracking without acceleration. The mouse features over eleven programmable buttons and a Pixart 3389 sensor that operates at up to 16,000 DPI. The native DPI settings can be monitored via an LED display. According to the manufacturer, Omron’s switches have a lifetime of 20 million clicks. With the appropriate software, players can assign macros, make DPI settings and adjust RGB lighting effects. The Pulsefire Raid will be available from 27 January for 69.99 euros.

RGB gaming mousepad XyperX Fury Ultra

Do you want a matching RGB gaming mouse pad for your gaming mouse? Then the Fury Ultra could be just the thing with a glowing 360-degree RGB light ring and light bar. The lighting effects can of course be individually adjusted via software. The hard surface of the mousepad has a microstructure and a non-slip underside, which should provide stability even during fast movements. The dimensions are 359.4 mm x 299.4 mm. The Fury Ultra will be available from 27 January for 54.99 euro.

HyperX Fury DDR4 and HyperX Impact DDR4 SODIMM

The Fury DDR4 memory module is a cost-effective but powerful update for the latest Intel and AMD platforms and also comes in an RGB version. Fury modules have Intel XMP certified or XMP enabled profiles and are also designed for AMD Ryzen. They are available immediately as 3600 MHz and 3733 MHz frequency versions, 8 GB and 16 GB modules and in kits for up to 64 GB from January from US$70. The Impact DDR4 memory module offers high performance for compact PCs.
