At this year’s CES in Las Vegas, Lenovo is presenting no less than three new Creator devices, all of which are aimed at people who are involved in media-creative activities.
Yoga Creator 7
The notebook Yoga Creator 7 measures 15.6 inches in screen diagonal, has a very thin case that is less than two millimeters thick and weighs less than two kilograms. Thus, it is well suited for transport and mobile use. The battery should be able to last for up to thirteen hours. However, the display only covers the sRGB color space, which seems strange, especially due to the focus on creative users. The device is driven by a tenth generation Core i7 processor. A card from Nvidia is responsible for the graphics. The device is expected to be available from the second quarter of 2020 from 1100 euros.
IdeaPad Creator 5
The notebook IdeaPad Creator 5 strongly resembles the Yoga Creator 7. It has a 15.6 inch display just like the model already introduced, is also equipped with a tenth generation Core i7 processor and also has a graphic card from Nvidia. However, it is a bit thicker and weighs 2.2 kilograms. Moreover, a larger color space coverage is given thanks to an AdobeRGB display. The device should be on the market in the third quarter of 2020 for prices starting at 1000 euro.
IdeaCentre Creator 5
Lenovo presents a desktop PC in addition to the two notebooks. The desktop PC among the new Creator models should be particularly powerful and also particularly quiet. According to Lenovo, the equipment includes processors up to the tenth generation i9 and graphics cards up to the GeForce RTX 2060. More about the equipment is not known yet. The device should be on the market in the third quarter of this year. The price should start at 1000 euro.
