The German manufacturer Gigaset is particularly convincing with smartphones in the mid-range price range. In the following we test the GS370 Plus, which Gigaset advertises above all with the 18:9 HD+ IPS Panorama Display and the aluminium-metal case. In the following test you will find out what the smartphone of the manufacturer from Bocholt really achieves and whether it can convince.
With a size of 151 x 72 x 8.2 millimetres and a weight of just under 145 grams, the Gigaset GS370 Plus is easy to hold. So it’s pretty compact. The corners are rounded, which reinforces the pleasant impression when lying on the hand. On the right there is a power button and a volume control. There is a fingerprint sensor on the back. The main camera is located on the left side of the back. The loudspeaker is located at the bottom, while a 3.5 mm audio output is located at the top.
Overall, the smartphone has all the components it needs and is quite well processed. There are no flaws, the feeling is pleasant. Since the case is made of aluminum, it feels quite good overall, which distinguishes it from other smartphones from the German manufacturer. While the predecessor model could not convey a particularly high-quality impression due to the absence of metal elements, the GS370 Plus convinces with regard to the workmanship as well as the optical and haptic overall impression.
