Many New AVM Smart Home Products at IFA 2019

AVM presents two new products and a new app for the Smart Home at the IFA in Berlin. Even an older product will receive updates.

FRITZ!DECT 500 is launched on the market for smart lighting control. It is an LED lamp with an E27 socket that can be dimmed continuously. DECT ULE integrates the lamp into the network at the touch of a button. The two FRITZ!DECT 440 and 400 push-buttons can be used for control, as can the FRITZ!FON. AVM will also be presenting the FRITZ!App Smart Home, which is also suitable for control, as a further innovation.

The FRITZ!DECT 440 pushbutton has also been introduced. It has an e-paper display and can manage smart sockets individually or in groups. The connection to a FRITZ! box via DECT-ULE radio is very simple and works at the push of a button. Room-based control is possible for several FRITZ! smart home products. FRITZ! DECT 200 and 210 (sockets), as well as FRITZ! DECT 301 (radiator controller) and the new LED lamp FRITZ! DECT 500 are controllable. The integrated temperature sensor is particularly useful together with the radiator controller. The button is configured via the user interface of the FRITZ! box.

The FRITZ!DECT 301 radiator controller gets two new functions in winter, according to AVM. The adaptive heating start ensures the desired temperature at a fixed time. In addition, the Boost and Window-Open modes can be controlled room-related via a group.

The FRITZ! app for Smart Home

To control your Smart-Home products on the road or at home, AVM launches the FRITZ! app – free of charge, of course. Download the app for Android or iOS and you can start right away. The app should be well thought out and modern. Important information such as desired temperature and measured temperature are immediately in view. By drag-and-drop everything can be adapted according to your own wishes. Also statistics, like the energy flow, can be viewed. The FRITZ! app Smart Home will be published in the 1st quarter of 2020.
