MSI GT76 Titanium: Desktop-grade Gaming Laptop

With the GT76 Titan, MSI presents the new spearhead in its gaming laptop portfolio at Computex 2019. The organizer of the most important IT trade fair in the world has already presented the high-end gaming laptop with the Golden Award in the Gaming & Entertainment category at the official Computex Best Choice Awards. The appearance of the GT76 Titan already makes it clear that the hard-core gamer will find a particularly powerful weapon here for his duels on the gaming battlegrounds. The housing design is based on the streamlined design of fast-paced sports cars. In addition to the RGB single key illumination of the keyboard, the new Mystic Light RGB illumination on the underside and back of the laptop is guaranteed to attract attention at the LAN party.

Inside, hardware of the high-end class works: The heart of the gaming titanium is an Intel Core i9 processor of the 9th generation in the desktop version. The eight processor cores can exploit their maximum potential thanks to the powerful Cooler Boost Titanium cooling: A total of four fans, eleven heatpipes and a CNC-milled copper block dissipate the waste heat emitted by the hardware efficiently and reliably. If turbo mode is activated in the MSI Dragon Center App, all cores can run simultaneously with the boost frequency of 5.0 GHz due to the good cooling – the GT76 Titan sets performance records and offers a performance that was previously unknown in the mobile segment. The GeForce RTX 2080 or RTX 2070 GPUs from NVIDIA’s current Turing series provide adequate pixel acceleration.

Whether as a 144 Hz full HD panel or in the 4K UHD variant – the large 17.3″ screen requires less space thanks to its almost frameless thin bezel format and has thus made the more compact dimensions of the GT76 Titan possible. The notebook is also convincing in terms of network connectivity with new technology. The Killer AX1650 WLAN module already works according to the 802.11ax standard (Wi-Fi 6) and enables a transmission rate of up to 2.4 Gbps via radio. Also from Killer and just as fast is the Ethernet chip E3000, which supports up to 2.5 GBit/s via LAN cable.

The MSI GT76 Titan laptop will be available in stores in July at prices starting at approx. 3,499 Euro.
