New Razer Blade Pro 17 Stands for Maximum Performance

Razer™, the world’s leading lifestyle brand for gamers, unveils its newly designed and reconfigured 17-inch gaming laptop, the Razer Blade Pro 17. Razer’s flagship gaming laptop has been redesigned from the ground up. With its innovative design, best-in-class components and numerous connectivity options, the Razer Blade Pro 17 stands out from the crowd.

“The new Blade Pro is the most powerful and versatile Razer laptop ever to replace high-performance desktop PCs,” said Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder and CEO. “It’s the perfect laptop for gamers who want a big screen, an incredible amount of connectivity and performance without sacrificing performance.”

Newly designed and with even more power

Designed for maximum performance in the smallest possible package, the Razer Blade Pro 17 is up to 25 percent smaller than other 17-inch gaming laptops in the same class. Heat management has been enhanced with Razer’s Vapor Chamber cooling system and a new multi-fan design. This ensures that the Razer Blade Pro 17 stays cool even in the most intense gaming sessions and video rendering processes.

Equipped with the 9th generation Intel® Core™ i7-9750H CPU with standard 2.6Ghz and up to 4.5 GHz, the new Razer Blade Po 17 performs all tasks with fast speed. Ideal for mobile users, the new six-core CPU with hyperthreading is ideal for streaming and video rendering on the go.

Powered by the latest NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ GPUs, the 17-incher is available with RTX 2060, RTX 2070 with Max-Q Design, or RTX 2080 with Max-Q Design. Thanks to RTX real-time raytracing, gamers enjoy the highest graphics quality. NVIDIA’s Creator Ready driver reduces render time and improves efficiency.

The new Razer Blade Pro 17 comes with 16GB of DDR4-2667MHz dual-channel memory. Expandable memory slots allow Intel® XMP-compatible memory to be upgraded with speeds up to 3,200 MHz for more bandwidth.

Each Razer Blade Pro 17 model has a fast 512 GB PCIe SSD and an additional M.2 slot with SATA and PCIe standards. Each slot can be expanded up to 2 TB.

Performance Display

Designed for gamers and creative professionals, the Razer Blade Pro 17 features an individually calibrated 17.3-inch Full HD (1920x1080p) display with a matte 144Hz panel for smooth viewing. The laptop covers 100 percent of the sRGB color space. The ultra slim design measures only 6mm thin frames. The Windows Hello-enabled IR face camera is mounted on the upper frame.

High connectivity

The new Razer Blade Pro 17 offers the most advanced connectivity available, including three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, one HDMI 2.0b and one Realtek 2.5Gb Ethernet ports, a UHS-III SD card reader, and two USB3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports (one of which acts as Thunderbolt™ 3 port). Wireless connectivity has been enhanced with Bluetooth 5.0 and the new Intel Wireless AX WLAN card to achieve 2.4Gb/s data throughput.

The Razer Advantage

The Razer Blade family stands for maximum design and performance. Each laptop is CNC machined from a single aircraft aluminum block and anodized for an extra smooth and scratch-resistant case with a matte finish. The operating system is delivered without Bloatware, so that no unnecessary programs slow down the performance. The large glass touchpad comes with Windows Precision drivers so every input is perfectly recognized. Thanks to Razer Chroma single-button backlighting, the keyboard can be customized with 16.8 million color options.
