After the presentation of the AMD X570 motherboards and AMD Ryzen 3000 processors with PCI Express 4.0, more and more manufacturers of SSDs are presenting corresponding models. With the XPG Gammix S50, Adata now also announces a PCI 4.0 NVMe SSD in the M.2-2280 form factor.
The Key Specifications of the ADATA XPG GAMMIX S50
The Adata Gammix S50 uses the PCIe 4.0 interface in such a way that a reading speed of up to 5,000 megabytes per second and a writing speed of up to 4,400 megabytes per second can be achieved. Adata previously used Silicon Motion, this SSD with the Phison controller PS5016-E16 will come onto the market. This is mainly because Silicon Motion will introduce the first PCI 4.0 counterpart to the market in 2020 at the earliest.
