AOC presented four new monitors of the Agon 3 series at Gamescom 2017. The AOC Agon AG273UG and the AOC Agon AG353UCG are already available since 2018. The two other models of the series, the AOC Agon AG273QCG and the AOC Agon AG273QCX are now available with more than one year delay.
Both monitors offer a 27-inch diagonal with WQHD resolution (2,560 × 1,440 pixels) and a curved panel.
The design of all Agon 3 Series monitors is relatively similar. The monitors are in plain black with no colour accents. The design is loosened up by a ring-shaped RGB lighting on the back. The design of the AG273QCG was awarded the Red Dot Design Award 2018.
AOC Agon AG273QCG – 27 inch with 165 Hz and G-Sync
The AG273QCG addresses users with Nvidia graphics cards thanks to its G-Sync support. The response time is 1 ms (grey to grey) and the refresh rate 165 Hz. The maximum brightness of the TN panel of 400 cd/m² is good, but not outstanding.
