The launch of Apple’s gaming platform Arcade has been officially announced. More than 100 games will start on September 19th. Those who want access to Apple’s game collection, which will also include some exclusive titles, will have to pay 4.99 US dollars per month.
The new game streaming service will be available on all of the company’s devices. To launch the service, the app will be available in a separate App Store tab. So it should be easy for iPhone, iPad or Apple TV users to find and install the new service. This tab should also display information about new games as well as relevant editorial content.
Among the games that can be streamed are „Frogger in Toy Town“ by Konami, „World Above“ and „Shinsekai: Into the Dephts“ by Capcom or „Saynora Wildhearts“ by Annapurna Interactive.
In the coming months, more titles from a wide variety of developers will follow. Some games will be developed exclusively for Apple’s streaming service.
