CES 2019 – Gigabyte Aorus AD27QD: Gaming Monitor with Active Noise Cancelling

At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in 2019, Gigabyte presented its first gaming monitor, which is marketed under the Aorus Group’s gaming label, as a company premiere. The IPS display offers WQHD (2,560 x 1,440 pixels), 144 Hz as well as DisplayHDR 400 and AMD FreeSync support.
Active Noise Cancelling as Unique Feature
Gigabyte has integrated „Active Noise Cancelling“ into the Aorus AD27QD as a unique selling point against the big competition on the gaming market. The monitor has three microphones on the front, which, when a headset is connected to the microphone input of the monitor, help to filter out annoying ambient noise. To configure the function, the monitor has Gigabyte software to control the other gaming options.
