At CES 2019, Lenovo unveiled its latest premium business notebooks, the „ThinkPad X1 Carbon“ and „ThinkPad X1 Yoga“, among others.
ThinkPad X1 Carbon: The seventh generation
The seventh generation of the Carbon ThinkPad is supposed to look even better on the outside than the predecessor version, which is particularly noticeable in the model with the top equipment. Lenovo not only relies on the well-known carbon finish, but also on an optional cover with visible carbon fibres.
In addition, the device also differs from the previous version in weight and thickness. It is not only thinner, but also lighter. The 14 inch notebook weighs only 1.08 kilograms and is offensively promoted by the manufacturer as „the lightest commercial 14 inch notebook in the world“.
It is powered by an eighth-generation Intel processor with up to 16 GB of RAM, depending on the version. The internal SSD memory, however, is up to 2 TB large.
