According to a
support article from Microsoft for customers in the UK, the Cortana language assistant will no longer be available as an Android and iOS app from 31 January 2020. The current integration of the digital assistant into the Microsoft Launcher will also be removed on this date. In an interview with the magazine
The Verge, Microsoft has now confirmed that Cortana will be removed from mobile devices in Australia, China, Germany, the UK, India, Canada, Mexico and Spain. There is no commentary on the situation in the USA so far.
