MSI Introduces Vigor GK50: Mechanical Keyboard with Kailh Choc Switches

Mechanical keyboards enjoy great popularity. Still famous is Cherry’s MX switch design, which for many manufacturers is the model for their mechanical keys. Although not many keyboards are equipped with the Cherry MX low profile switches, there are alternatives, such as the Kailh Choc switches.

The Choc Switches have their name because of the appearance of their rectangular key holder, which looks as square as a piece of chocolate (Choc =Chocolate).
This is exactly what MSI now uses in their new Vigor GK50 keyboard with Kailh Low Profile White switch. The white switches are Kailh keys where you not only feel the clicks but also hear them. This should make for a more pleasant typing experience. The design is based on the typical „loud“ mechanical keyboards. But how audible the keys actually are in practice can only be judged in a test.
