The manufacturer ADATA has introduced a new SSD of its XPG series for gamers. The new product in M.2 format scores with PCIe 3.0 x4 connection.
The novelty in detail
The XPG SX 8100 is the successor of the SX8000 (MLC-NAND) or SX8200 (3D NAND TLC). The controller (Realtek RTS5762) is different, but was already found in the XPG Spectrix S40G.
The SSD should be readable up to 3,500 MB/s and writeable up to 3,000 MB/s as well as 300,000 or 240,000 IOPS usable. SLC cache and DRAM cache are also used. Probably the only difference to the XPG Spectrix S40G is the missing lighting and the missing heat sink.
