Teamgroup has introduced new SSDs in the design of the TUF Gaming Alliance in cooperation with Asus. Owners of an Asus motherboard with TUF support can thus integrate storage solutions into their existing design and ensure a uniform appearance of their gaming computer.
All 2.5-inch models in the new SSD series feature addressable RGB LEDs that can be controlled via ASUS Aura-Sync. It is thus possible to define the colour and a number of effects via the mainboard. In addition to the classic SSDs in the 2.5-inch housing, NVMe.SSDs in M.2 format will also appear, but these do not have LEDs due to space restrictions.
According to the manufacturer’s specifications, the M.2 SSD T-Force Cardea II TUF Gaming Alliance is supposed to reach a speed of up to 3,000 MB/s when writing and 3,400 MB/s when reading. The IOPS for random 4K accesses are 450,000 for reading and 400,000 for writing. 512 GB and 1 TB capacity models are offered...
