TEAMGROUP: T-CREATE CLASSIC Thunderbolt3 SSD and T-FORCE CARDEA Z44L PCIe4.0 SSD announced

Manufacturer TEAMGROUP has introduced two new SSDs that mark the top of the sub-brands sub-brands T-CREATE and T-FORCE and are aimed at developers and gamers. The T-CREATE CLASSIC Thunderbolt3 external SSD supports Thunderbolt and USB interfaces, while the T-FORCE CARDEA Z44L PCIe4 .0 internal SSD features a patented ultra-thin graphene heat sink.

T-CREATE CLASSIC Thunderbolt3 SSD

For developers looking for an SSD that is compatible with a wide range of interfaces and platforms and can transfer large files at high speeds, the T-CREATE CLASSIC Thunderbolt3 external SSD meets all the criteria with its multi-interface support. The SSD features a single Type-C connector that supports Thunderbolt3 and 4, as well as USB3.2 Gen2 interfaces. It is easily detected via plug-and-play, while the interface type is automatically set without the need for time-consuming configuration.

It is fully compatible with Mac OS and Windows systems. The CLASSIC Thunderbolt3 External SSD can achieve speeds of up to 900 MB/s when using the USB interface. On a Thubderbolt3 port, the SSD accesses the full power of PCIe Gen3x4, allowing speeds of up to 2,700 MB/s.

Transfer up to 25GB of multimedia files in just 15 seconds. The SSD’s glacier silver aluminum heat sink has a classic and elegant design, providing high durability and excellent cooling during high-speed data transfers. Capacities of 1TB, 2TB and 4TB are available for selection.

T-FORCE CARDEA Z44L PCIe4.0 SSD

Gamers should also find the new internal T-FORCE CARDEA Z44L PCIe4.0 SSD exciting. The CARDEA Z44L comes with a super-thin graphene heat sink that incorporates several patented technologies that improve heat dissipation by up to 9%. It is made of extra conductive materials and provides gamers with excellent flexibility for their builds. It is also fully compatible with all motherboard heatsinks.

The SSD supports the latest PCIe Gen 4×4 interface and can deliver read/write speeds of up to 3500/3000 MB/s, 7 times faster than typical SATA SSDs. In addition, its carefully selected 3D TLC NAND flash memory and SLC cache design enable exceptional stability at the extremely high transfer speeds of PCIe 4.0.

T-FORCE CARDEA Z44L

Available in 500GB and 1TB variants, T-FORCE’s high-performance SSD, the CARDEA Z44L, is the smart choice for gamers who want to easily upgrade their PCIe Gen 3 SSD to Gen 4.

Pricing and Availability

Both of TEAMGROUP’s SSD hard drives will make their way to retailers starting in late September 2021. The T-CREATE CLASSIC Thunderbolt3 External SSD starts at an MSRP of $249.99 for the 1TB variant. The 2TB model is priced at an MSRP of $449.99, while a 4TB capacity calls for as little as $899.99.

The T-FORCE CARDEA Z44L PCIe4.0 SSD has an MSRP of $74.99 for the 500GB model and $166.99 for double the storage capacity of 1TB.
