With the Renault Mégane E-Tech, the French will release their top model among the electric cars in 2022. Back in November, the noble e-car was presented in detail. Meanwhile, the price list for Germany is also available.
Renault Mégane E-Tech to launch in March 2022
The new Renault Mégane E-Tech electric car will be available for pre-order from February 2022, with delivery scheduled to take place just one month later – in March of that year. Customers who have already pre-ordered a vehicle can now convert their reservation into an order as late as 2021. Renault will start taking orders on February 1, 2022.
The starting price is 35,200 euros. After deducting the €9,570 Renault environmental bonus (€6,000 environmental bonus incl. innovation premium, €3,570 Renault share), the e-car is thus available from €25,630.
The electric version of the Megane, which looks very different from the classic model, will be available in four features and with two drive and two battery variants. The entry-level model in the Equilibre trim level is equipped with the 40 kWh battery and the 97 kW electric motor.
Prices for the E-Mégane
Prices for the Megane E-TECH start at 230 euros per month for leasing customers and 35,200 euros for the Equilibre features with the 40-kWh battery and 130-hp electric motor, respectively. The Techno trim level with the 60-kWh battery pack and 218-hp electric motor is available from 370 euros per month or 44,700 euros. The top model in the Iconic variant is priced at 47,500 euros.
For electric mobility without restrictions, Renault offers customers of the new Megane E-TECH the Mobilize Charge Pass. Once activated, this opens access to over 260,000 public charging points in 25 European countries and enables hassle-free payment and identification. For particularly long journeys, Megane E-TECH users also have access to a free alternative vehicle as part of the so-called “Switch Car” offer.
Renault provides a two-year warranty on the Megane E-Tech with 24-hour service seven days a week. The battery is guaranteed for eight years or 160,000 kilometers.
