In addition to the Sony Xperia 1 presented at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in February, the Japanese group will be offering the Sony Xperia 5, a high-end smartphone reminiscent of the company’s successful Compact models, from the beginning of October. The components of the smartphone presented at IFA 2019 in Berlin are largely identical to its big brother.
Just as with the Xperia 1, Sony also relies on a 21:9 format display for the Xperia 5, which is particularly suitable for the playback of movies.
