According to a
report of the US American television channel CNN, YouTuber and musicians in America were sentenced to ten years imprisonment for asking young girls to send him nude videos. The 26-year-old Austin Jones was arrested in 2017, in February 2019 he made a confession and pleaded guilty to the accusations.
Jones promised his 14- and 15-year-old victims that in return for sex videos, he would help them achieve a career as models. He also talked about how the young girls can prove that they are his biggest fans. Altogether at least six girls are said to have sent him videos.
As judge John Z. Lee explained, the victims were probably the biggest fans of YouTuber. The victims‘ lawyers demanded a five-year prison sentence, which is the minimum sentence. With a sentence of ten years in prison, Lee is close to the prosecution’s demand for eleven years in prison.
