Kolink Observatory Z: New PC case for more visibility

Manufacturer Kolink expands the Observatory case series with a new model. The Kolink Observatory Z wants to inspire with a noble design, high flexibility and good cooling performance thanks to four pre-installed ARGB fans.

Kolink Observatory Z introduced

The Kolink Observatory Z PC case marks the latest representative of the manufacturer’s flagship midi towers and comes with a full four Umbra Void 120mm fans including ARGB lighting to offer superior cooling performance.

The tempered glass side panel with quick-release function offers a view of the installed hardware and allows flexible access to the components. Inside, on the other hand, the case allows for the installation of a wide variety of components, as well as enough space for cable management and a bracket for the vertical installation of the graphics card.

The Kolink Observatory Z is offered as Observatory Z ARGB and Observatory Z Mesh ARGB midi tower. Depending on the model, the front panel is either made of 4 mm tempered glass or fine mesh. The side ventilation grilles protrude from the frame, which is said to have a positive effect on air circulation while also providing an appealing look.

ARGB control

The case features numerous metal mesh dust covers that promote airflow, complementing the four integrated Umbra Void ARGB-PWM-120mm fans. Their speed can be freely controlled, even up to 1,500 rpm if needed. At the same time, curved fan blades ensure efficient running, while the hydraulic bearing increases the fan’s longevity.

ARGB lighting can be customized using Umbra’s ARGB controller and downloadable software. Alternatively, the ARGB lighting can be controlled directly via a 3-pin 5V ARGB header on the motherboard.
