Focus Bikes presents new E-MTBs with full suspension

The winter is slowly coming to an end and thus nothing stands in the way of extended bike tours. Just in time for the start of the 2023 season, manufacturer Focus Bikes is launching three new series of E-MTBs, which are suitable, among other things, thanks to full suspension for all those who like to ride on rough terrain. New are the model series Focus Bikes Jam² 6, Jam² 8 and Focus Sam².

Focus Bikes Jam² 6, Jam² 8 and Focus Sam² introduced

With the model series Focus Bikes Jam² 6, Jam² 8 and Focus Sam² expect you high-quality E-mountain bikes that want to convince with a first-class equipment.

The less expensive Jam² 6 and Jam² 8 series differ from each other in details, but largely rely on the same advantages. Within the model series, there are once again different variants such as the 6.7, 6.8 and 6.9 models, or 8.0, 8.7, 8.8 and 8.9.

Most of them rely on a powerful Bosch Performance Line CX Smart System drive with 85 Newton meters, while the top model in the form of the Focus Jam² 8 bike even uses the even more powerful race version of the drive. The battery of the 8 and 6 series holds 750 watt hours (only the less expensive 8.7 and 6.7 come with 625 Wh).

The battery can be charged via the integrated charging socket on the seat tube of the E-MTB or can be easily and quickly removed to supply it with new energy at home.

The higher-end models also feature System Controller, Mini Remote and Kiox 300 display. The 8th series relies on a lightweight and robust carbon frame with aluminum rear triangle, while the 6th series has to make do with an aluminum frame and do without the System Controller.

The 6 Series also features a USB-C port on the top tube, which can be used to charge a smartphone, for example.

Focus Sam²

The Focus Sam² series are also extremely high-quality E-Enduro bikes that also benefit from the Bosch Performance CX drive, in the Race version on the top model, and a 750 Wh battery.

With 180 mm front and 170 mm rear, they offer even more suspension travel and allow all cables to disappear completely inside, which gives them additional protection in rough terrain.

Prices and availability

The new e-mountain bikes from Focus Bikes should be available in stores soon. Starting at €5,499.00, the Focus Bikes Jam² 6 range will start with the 6.7 model. The Focus Bikes Jam² 8 range will start from €5,999.00, while the Focus Sam² variants are to be offered from €5,499.00.
